I believe it was a good weekend, overall! I'd lost my Handke notes, but James printed out some of them for me. Some, but not all. Still, enough to get a rough 1900-1930 detail. The 1900 census is particularly interesting; it seems that Herman and Bertha Handke (Gladys' grandparents) both immigrated from Berlin in 1882, but were married in 1885 ( Read more... )
